Q: Hey! Will you review my book if I’m not traditionally published?
A: We’d like to say “Sure. Of course.” But, we’re only human and there are only so many hours in a day. If you’d like us to consider reviewing your book, head over to Review My Book, read our guidelines, and complete the form at the bottom.
Q: What about book promotion?
A: Absolutely! We’d love to be a part of your blog tours, cover reveals, teasers and excerpts. We also do author interviews. At the beginning of each month, we compile a list of new releases and we’re always looking to showcase books there. Just send us an email with your details and we can go from there.
Q: I see you have guest reviewers. How can I become a guest reviewer?
A: First, read this post about guest reviewers. Also check out our About page to see what types of books we read and review here. Then read our reviews to see if your writing style fits with ours.
Q: What’s the difference between your #fbf, Re-Read, and From The BiblioFile reviews?
A: Although all 3 feature older books, there are a few reasons why we decided to separate them. #Fbf is for books we’ve read and reviewed before starting 80 Books. It’s basically us condensing things down into one location. Re-Reads is sort of self-explanatory. We’ve read it and now we’re reading it again, for perspective and of course, nostalgia. From the BiblioFile is for those backlist/older titles that we’re reading for the first time.
Q: What was up with that Fabio post?!
A: We love that post. Do not ever knock our Fabio post. And, it was April Fool’s Day.
Q: Why are you suddenly so into diversity?
A: Well, we’re not “suddenly” into diversity. That’s been one of our goals since we started this blog. Diversity isn’t a trend; it’s real life, and it’s time the industry start reflecting that. We’re just doing our part.
